Pyvio announced that its European entity, Pyvio Europe Limited, has been granted a Payment Institution (PI) Licence by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) on August 26, 2026. The licence enables Pyvio Europe Limited to provide regulated payment services under the EU payment services framework, including payment account services, payment transaction execution, payment instrument issuance, payment acquiring, and related ancillary services.
The licence marks a major milestone in Pyvio’s European compliance journey and advances its global payment strategy. It further strengthens Pyvio’s commitment to regulatory compliance, robust risk management, and secure payment infrastructure, while enhancing its ability to provide compliant and efficient payment solutions for businesses with cross-border operations in Europe and beyond.

To date, Pyvio has established a multi-regional compliance framework spanning Asia, North America, and Europe, backed by regulatory credentials including a Hong Kong MSO Licence, MSB status in the United States and Canada, Singapore MPI In-Principle Approval, and the newly obtained Malta PI Licence. The company continues to strengthen its regulatory footprint across key markets, including Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
